HuffPost's new parent-child interview series Talk To Me examines the close and often complex relationships between parents and their kids, and encourages sons and daughters around the world to make time to interview their parents.
In a new video for the series, HuffPost RISE host Cat Greenleaf takes her interviewing skills back home as she sits down with her mother, Barbara, for a heart-to-heart.
Barbara offers important advice that starts with three little words. She wants her "bumper sticker" axiom of "hang in there" to resonate with her daughter and anyone out there struggling at work or with their personal life. "If you just stick it out, it's amazing what the results can be," she said. Watch it all above.
We’d love for you to be part of Talk To Me, and have your own conversation with your child or parent featured on HuffPost. Creating a video is simple and fun; see our tips here, or watch a compilation of great #TalkToMe moments below.
