Catherine Malandrino For Kohl's Is Latest Designer Collaboration

Looking to take a fashion cue from the French? Enter Catherine Malandrino, the latest designer to team up with Kohl's for a collaboration. The third designer in Kohl’s DesigNation program, Malandrino will be creating an 80-piece collection for Kohl's stores and kohls.com, reports Women's Wear Daily.

The inspiration, as mentioned before, will be decidedly French. "Every woman in America has a French dream in her head, especially a Parisian one," Malandrino told WWD. Luckily it will also be affordable, with prices falling between $36 to $130.

Will Malandrino prove to be as big a draw as, say, Missoni for Target? The two previous Kohl's DesigNation collections, Narciso Rodriguez and Derek Lam, were both well received but certainly didn't crash any websites. There are no photos of Malandrino's collection yet... but do you think you'll be in line when the clothes hit stores this fall?
