I am lucky enough to meet and learn from creative activists every day. Being someone who is dedicated to informing, inspiring, and educating others on the ways one can change the world around them, I have set out to document others who do the same. My team and I are catching these creative activists in the act and on-the-go, and sharing what they do, how they do it, and how we can all take action.

I recently caught up with Philippe Cousteau Jr. on Topanga Beach in Malibu. Philippe is following in the footsteps of his grandfather, famed French explorer Jacques Cousteau, and encouraging young people to use their power to change the world around them. He has launched his "Water Planet Challenge" through his organization EarthEcho International, as a call to middle and high school students throughout the country to take action in their communities to improve the health of the environment.

How YOU can take action:
•Avoid using plastic bags
•Buy local food & support local farmers
•Think about who you vote for, and how they impact our environment
