8 Ways To Impress The Hell Out Of Your Friends (With Caviar)

The year is almost over. Let's celebrate like fancy people!

We certainly don't recommend that you pull out all the stops and splurge on luxury ingredients every day. We only indulge in this kind of behavior on very special occasions, like when we throw a New Year's Eve party. Today, let's talk about the all-out show-stopping capabilities of caviar recipes. There are both inexpensive and sustainable types of fish roe that can easily stand in for the pricy, endangered stuff, so you don't even have to sacrifice your wallet/ethics to impress your friends with a mouthful of caviar to ring in the new year.

The traditional accompaniments for caviar are blinis, creme fraiche and either vodka or Champagne. The traditional stuff is great, but we also find the flavors in caviar to go uncommonly well with potatoes, artichokes and eggs. The year is almost over, let's impress the hell out of our friends!
