Oscar Wilde once said "Education is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember from time to time that nothing worth knowing can be taught."

As an educator, I don't entirely agree with this quote, but there are many truths to it. I do believe, however, that there is no substitute for actual life experience. For example: I can spend days discussing the details of Renaissance art, but just one trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art is more effective than any passionate lecture I can give. With this in mind, I decided to reach out to some of my most inspirational celebrity friends to change the lives of my talented students, by merely being themselves.

I am very fortunate to be friends with some of the most talented people in their respective fields, and they are more than willing to share their journey with my students who have come to idolize them. Their words and presence not only create a fire inside my students to pursue their passions, but it gives my students a once-in-a-lifetime experience that no lesson, no matter how engaging, could replace.

So, on this week's Celebrity Field Trip, we train with Legendary Bodybuilder Bill Grant at Diamond Gym in Maplewood, New Jersey.
