This week, tragedy struck Hollywood when beloved "Sopranos" star James Gandolfini died of a heart attack in Italy. The revered actor was only 51 years old, and was reportedly found collapsed by his son.
In more upbeat news, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed new life into the world last Saturday (June 15) when their baby girl was born five weeks ahead of schedule. Five days and many debunked rumors later, the littlest Kardashian's name was revealed to be North (as in, North West).
Also this week: Courtney Stodden broke her "all natural" oath and went under the knife for breast enhancement surgery. Meanwhile, Amanda Bynes reportedly revealed that she had her breast implants taken out.
Justin Bieber was involved in a hit and run of a paparazzo, only to be later cleared of all suspicions. Miley Cyrus also had an abrasive incident involving a paparazzo, only she used profane language and not her swaggy ride. The day before, she unleashed her mucho sexy video for the song "We Can't Stop" onto the world.
Katy Perry opened up to Vogue about her split from ex-husband Russell Brand and made us cringe when we learned how they broke up (via text). She also admitted to still being in love with her latest ex, John Mayer.
Mariah Carey wowed this week in a teeny monokini; Maria Menounos sizzled in a bikini; Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Greene showed off their killer toned bodies; Xtina Aguilera displayed her amazing weight loss in a super-tight skirt and bra onstage at "The Voice" finale; and Beyonce showed us a sliver of her famously taut abs, proving once again she's baby-bump free.
