Celine Dion Releases Song 'Recovering' About Life After Her Husband's Death

The emotional ballad will definitely bring you to tears.

The music world mourned the death of Celine Dion’s husband, 73-year-old producer René Angélil, earlier this year.

The singer, who memorialized her partner of 21 years with tearful performances and countless interviews about their love, released a song on Thursday dedicated to Angélil.

With lyrics like, “Hold me / As I fall apart, baby / Hold me / Here in the dark / Cause the old me / Run just as far as I could from my heart,” and that last “Tell him I love him, oh,” the slow, emotional tribute is sure to bring you to tears.

Dion told ET Online in July that the beautiful balled, called “Recovering,” was written by fellow singer Pink.

“She is phenomenal. I love her for her talent, for her strength, for her focus, the person she is,” Dion said. “[I told her], ‘For you to take the time to really write a song, to give me a tool, a piece of luggage to help me to move forward to walk to keep going ...’”
