A love to last a lifetime! Two centenarians celebrated their 75th anniversary yesterday at their Maryland retirement home, the Associated Press reports, which is, obviously, quite the milestone.

Walter and Leslie Kimmel, who are both 100 years old, celebrated their wedding on August 18, 1940. The two met when they were just 22 years old at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Baltimore, where Leslie played the organ and Walter sang in the choir (could these two be any more adorable? We don't think so!). From then on, Walter worked for Baltimore Gas & Electric while Leslie was a secretary. These two went on to have a happy marriage and grow their great family, including two sons, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Yesterday afternoon these two celebrated the incredible years together with a party at the Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville, Maryland. Local baker SugarBakers even whipped up a personalized cake for the occasion. According to People these two were still as in love as ever, holding hands and kissing while fellow residents raised a glass to their romance. The party was held at exactly 2 p.m. -- the same moment in the day Leslie walked down the aisle to say "I do" to Walter.

With this happy news one thing is for sure: Leslie and Walter give us hope for all relationships. While not all couples are lucky enough to live to see their 75th anniversary, this story sure has sweetened our evening! Here's to many more years together, Mr. and Mrs. Kimmel!
