Charles Barkley: 'Heat Have The Worst Fans'

Charles Barkley Rips Heat Fans

The battle between Charles Barkley and Miami Heat fans continued on Wednesday when the former NBA star went on the "Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000.

Barkley, who called the Heat a "whiny bunch" during the Eastern Conference finals, was asked if he thinks Miami is the worst professional sports town.

"Yeah they have the worst fans. No question," he said after praising Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. "It's not even loud in there. You're at the game and you are like, 'Man this place isn't even loud.' At least when you go to Chicago, it's loud in there, it's crazy down in Dallas but it's not even loud in Miami."

In the middle of the conference finals, Heat fans surrounding the TNT set blasted Barkley with chants of "Barkley sucks!" The NBA analyst responded by flipping them off immediately after the TNT cameras stopped rolling.

TNT decided to move the post-game show inside the arena during the Heat-Bulls series after a Miami fan reportedly threw a towel in the direction of Barkley.
