A Brooklyn NYPD traffic officer was arrested Tuesday for allegedly drugging and raping a 17-year-old girl.
The New York Post reports 25-year old Charles Taylor took the woman on a date to Junior's in Downtown Brooklyn on Sunday and then proceeded with "slipping her a drug, driving her around until she was lost and raping her."
Taylor and his accuser began texting and calling each other after meeting for the first time last week.
Following the alleged rape, the woman confided in a relative who then took her to a hospital.
Charles has been suspended without pay. An arraignment is expected for Wednesday evening.
The accusation comes just two months after former NYPD officer Michael Pena pleaded guilty to raping a schoolteacher at gunpoint.
