After urging fans on Twitter to deliver "a rotted egg a roll of toilet paper or some dog sh-t" to his daughter's school where she was bullied, Charlie Sheen is, as always, unapologetic about his comments.
Sheen spoke to TMZ, saying the Los Angeles school "should be ashamed of itself for allowing the bullying to go on and try to hide it."
But Viewpoint School, where the 47-year-old actor's 9-year-old daughter attended, claims it investigated the incident last year and took the necessary action. A statement the school released on Thursday reads as follows:
"Viewpoint School's highest priority is the safety, security and education of our students. Like all responsible schools across our nation, we are concerned when any individual uses a social media forum to encourage actions that may risk the safety and security of any school. The parent of a former Viewpoint School student who has not attended Viewpoint School since March 2012 has made certain accusations in the media. Viewpoint School first became aware of these accusations last year. Our administrators addressed the issue appropriately at that time. Our School takes accusations of bullying very seriously. For over 50 years, Viewpoint School has provided a safe and nurturing environment for our students to thrive, and we will continue to do so." [E! News]
When asked about the dog feces Sheen ordered fans to deliver, he stood by his original words, despite Viewpoint's claims that officials took care of the matter at hand.
"They needed a visual reminder not to forget the epidemic of bullying," the "Anger Management" actor told TMZ.
But as for why he waited so long to retaliate, considering it's been a year since his daughter withdrew from the school?
"There's no statute of limitations on bullying," Sheen profoundly said.
