Charlize Theron knows how to rock a pixie cut.
About eight months ago Theron first shaved her platinum locks for her role in the upcoming "Mad Max: Fury Road." On Sunday night she debuted a cropped style at the 2013 Oscar Awards, saying that it took about three months of growth to get the perfect pixie length.

The South African beauty strutted the red carpet in a white Dior gown and an arm frosted with diamonds, but her most striking feature was her new hair.
"It's the most freeing thing," Theron told Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet at the Hollywood & Highland Center in California. "I highly recommend it."
E!'s "Fashion Police" loved her new look.
"She took the pixie cut a little bit further," Marie Claire Senior Fashion Editor Zanna Roberts Rassi commented during the show. "It's almost shaved at the back. It's fantastic."
On Friday, the new mom hit up a dinner to celebrate her collaboration with Toms Shoes for the Africa Outreach Project at the Toms Flagship Store in Venice, Calif., according to Just Jared. Although she is now a mom to baby Jackson, don't expect Theron to be rocking her new hair at a wedding any time soon.
“Blake, I’m not ever going to get married, but this is the closest I’m going to get to a marriage that actually works,” Charlize joked at the dinner to Toms founder Blake Mycoskie. “Your team and your long-term commitment to us has been so amazing.”
