Charlize Theron is really showing off her range nowadays. The Oscar-winner, who is starring as the ruthless, youth-sucking evil queen in "Snow White and the Huntsman," will take a turn as a booze-swigging, sad sack in Jason Reitman's comedy, "Young Adult," swapping one prickly exterior for another, (which she has no problem doing).
Here, she plays a successful young adult novelist who's returned to her hometown on a desperate bender to win over the heart of her (now married) high school sweetheart.

"Young Adult" hits theaters on December 16.
