Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may be keeping most of the details of their wedding hidden from the public, but there's one thing that the couple can't hide: Jolie's custom-made engagement ring.
Designed by jeweler Robert Procop, the beautiful tablet-shaped diamond ring reportedly boasts 16-carats -- and a lot of sparkle. There are no official reports on how much it cost yet, but many sources are saying the bauble is worth $500,000 or even a million dollars. Whatever the actual price tag was, we can only imagine that the sparkler cost Pitt a pretty hefty chunk of change.
Unfortunately, most of us can't afford to spend that much on wedding bling, but who says that you have to spend an exorbitant amount of money to find a beautiful ring?

Quite simply, couples can save money on a ring by opting for diamonds that are smaller than 1-carat. According to Brilliance, prices skyrocket at every whole carat, meaning that a 1.8-carat diamond can be much cheaper than a 2.
