Rep. Chellie Pingree (D-Maine) defeated Republican Isaac Misiuk in the state's 1st District Tuesday, the Associated Press reports.
Pingree was first elected to Congress in 2008 and was unopposed in this year's Democratic primary.
Misiuk is a second year political science student at the University of Southern Maine.
