A 14-year-old girl brought the "Britain's Got Talent” audience to tears with her astonishing rendition of a Cher classic.
Jasmine Elcock put her own twist on the Grammy Award-winning track "Believe" for her audition, which aired in the United Kingdom on Saturday night.
And by the time she'd finished, there was hardly a dry eye left in the house.
"For so many reasons, that audition moved me so much," said judge Alesha Dixon, who wiped tears away from her face. "I've never been so much of a mess on the show. Literally. Oh, my goodness. I hope all your dreams come true. You deserve it."
Head judge Simon Cowell, famous for his often snarky put-downs, also heaped praise on the teenager's phenomenal performance.
"You know what. I was at one point losing the will to live, thinking maybe all the talent has gone," said Cowell. "And now you come back, little thing, with such a great voice, so charming, and I think this country is totally going to fall in love with you."
Her powerful vocals also left Anthony McPartlin, one half of the show's TV presenting duo Ant & Dec, wiping away tears. "Oh, God, that's got me really emotional," said McPartlin after pushing the Golden Buzzer, which allows Jasmine to skip straight through to the show's live semifinals.
She joins 12-year-old Beau Dermott, who wowed the judges with her wonderful version of "Defying Gravity" during an earlier audition.
