We're going to go ahead and say it: The movie "Clueless" sparked our interest in style in the first place. Cher's school-girl skirts, knee-high socks and kitsch accessories were feminine, avant-garde and popular girl-worthy all at the same time. She was inspiring an army of fashion followers before Carrie Bradshaw even existed on the small screen.
So it's no wonder fashion editors these days are still dressing like the film's leading lady, Cher Horowitz. Seriously -- just talk one look at the street style during recent fashion weeks and you'll see Cher's influence everywhere...
Point proven.
