The Griswold family is getting back together ... kind of. ABC is set to make a new comedy starring Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo, co-stars from the "National Lampoon's Vacation" franchise.

The single-camera comedy pilot comes from producer Aaron Kaplan ("The Neighbors") and will follow a pair of 60-something grandparents forced to raise their grandchildren. According to EW, the unnamed project is being considered for the 2015-2016 season.

This would mark Chase's first return to network TV after his stint on "Community." "Entourage" fans will know D'Angelo from her memorable role as tough agent Barbara Miller.

The pair appeared in four "Vacation" films together, the first debuting in 1983. Thirty years have passed, but we can only imagine the kind of high jinx the 60-year-old Griswolds will get into.
