Childhood best friends Katy, Sarah, Jo, Caroline, Emma and Hayley, all 30, have all been friends for up to 27 years. Whilst they all got married between 2006 and 2014, this weekend they all put back on their wedding dresses, veils, jewellery, funky shoes and glammed up for a fun photoshoot.

We started the photoshoot at Caroline's family home in Woodlands, Dorset where they all used to play together when they were young; organising treasure hunts, having afternoon tea by the pond and making mud pies! We then headed to Sandbanks Beach, Poole, Dorset (minus Sarah who couldn't make it) for some late afternoon September sunshine (which as you can imagine, caused a few turned heads!).

known all of these girls since school myself and married to Hayley, it
was also an amazing experience for me to photograph them all together, especially after shooting Katy's, Jo's and Caroline's big days. It was made even more special for me to photograph my wife in her wedding dress!

Emma is wearing 'Heidi' by Sassi Holford, Katy is wearing 'Palermo' by Kathy Ireland, Hayley is wearing Ellis Bridal, Caroline is wearing Eternity Bride and Jo is wearing 'Levina' by La Sposa. Sarah, however, wore a spare dress for the shoot as she made her actual dress into a christening gown for both her children's christenings.

As a wedding and water sports photographer, I have been nagging my wife to jump in the sea for a 'trash the dress' shoot for 3 years and she finally jumped in for these photos! And what a result! #luckyhusband
A massive thank you to all the girls for getting together for this shoot which we started planning back in 2012! And a huge thank you to husbands Mike and Barry for their help on the day and not forgetting Emma's brother Jack as my superb assistant for the shoot.

I have photographed some awesome weddings this year, so to close the season with this extra special shoot was simply incredible. You girls are all bloody legends.
