A cruise ship carrying 458 people capsized during a storm on China's Yangtze river on Monday night, leaving more than 400 missing.
The four-level ship was on its way from the city of Nanjing to the city of Chongqing, the Associated Press reports. Many of the passengers were retirees.
Several survivors swam ashore on Monday night and divers pulled three people alive from inside the ship on Tuesday, bringing the total of those rescued to 15. At least five people were confirmed dead.
Photos published on Tuesday showed the tireless efforts of divers and rescue teams to find more survivors in the water.
