Chloë Grace Moretz and Victoria and David Beckham’s 17-year-old model son Brooklyn have reportedly called it quits, a source confirmed to People.
The last time we went through a breakup, we found ourselves on a transatlantic flight sobbing so loudly while watching Moretz’s teen-ghost drama “If I Stay” that a flight attendant gave us extra pretzels. So, we FEEL you, girl.
Page Six was first to report the news of the split after Beckham was spotted arriving solo to Justin Bieber’s make-out palace, The Nice Guy, in Los Angeles. Apparently, the two hadn’t been making an effort to see each other recently, even though they’ve been spending time in the same cities.
Beckham has now returned to his hometown of London after spending a summer of love (it happened so fast) with Moretz in Los Angeles, the celebrity gossip site reports.
Moretz and Beckham had been dating for years but only recently went public with their relationship in 2016, flooding Instagram with couple-y photos of their young Hollywood romance.
(They’re really into the black-and-white nostalgia look.)
Moretz was first to confirm their relationship in an awkward exchange on an episode of “Watch What Happens Live” in September.
“He’s a very good guy. He’s a good person,” she told host Andy Cohen. “I enjoy hanging out with him.”
Neither Moretz or Beckham have posted any cryptic tweets or Instagram captions about the break up (yet).
But it looks like she might be OK, at least.
Just two days ago, Moretz was seen peddling that round chapstick company every celebrity seems to have signed an endorsement deal with. Now, that’s how you handle a breakup in Hollywood.
