Chris Rock Failed Asian-Americans With This Controversial Joke

What do you think of the tone-deaf bits?

Chris Rock might've nailed his Oscars opening monologue, but he left some viewers angry after doing a skit that played up Asian and Jewish stereotypes.

"The result of tonight's Academy Awards have been tabulated by the accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers," Rock said. "They sent us their most dedicated, accurate and hard-working representatives."

Rock then brought three kids on stage, giving them stereotypical Asian and Jewish names while pretending that they were the Oscars accountants.

"If anybody's upset about that joke, just tweet about it on your phone that was also made by these kids, OK?" Rock said.

People were mad about the skit and took to Twitter to voice their opinions:

Sacha Baron Cohen also raised eyebrows when he presented an award as his alter ego Ali G and made comments about "very hardworking, little yellow people with tiny dongs."

Do you think the skits were in poor taste?
