Christie's Pop Culture Auction Features Memorabilia From Britney Spears To James Bond (PHOTOS)

Pop Culture Meets Christie's Auction House

The line between pop culture and fine art is a precarious delineation -- just ask Andy Warhol or Roy Lichtenstein. Actually, why not ask Britney Spears? The "Baby One More Time" singer recently entered into the realm of finer things when her name was listed in a catalogue of an upcoming Christie's auction.

In fact, Spears is just one of many music and film icons who have joined the ranks of Christie's London as part of the November sale, "Pop Culture." Featuring costumes, photographs, artwork, instruments and other personal items, the auction is a trek through the last 100 years of mass appeal.

From bustiers to whips to many more wholesome props, the sale offers quite the array of unforgettable memorabilia: James Bond vehicles, Rolling Stones fashion, even a yearbook photo of Bob Dylan are but a few of the available lots.
