Christopher Mintz-Plasse Recalls Crashing Car On 'When I Was 17'

McLovin Was A 'Predator'?

In the new 3D vampire flick "Fright Night," Christopher Mintz-Plasse (aka McLovin for you "Superbad" fans) plays a teen on the hunt to catch a blood-sucking predator, played by Colin Farrell. But in the latest episode of MTV's "When I Was 17", Mintz-Plasse reveals that when he was 17-years-old, he was the predator--but not the blood sucking kind.

"There's a game in the valley that you play with your friends--it's called 'Predator,' " Mintz-Plasse explained to MTV. "You start at a friend's house, two people get in the backseat, and they get blindfolded so they don't know where they're going. So, you drop them off on a corner somewhere and take the blindfolds from them. The car goes back to the house, and when that happens, that's when the game actually starts."

The goal of the game is for the passengers was to find a way back to home base without getting tagged, but McLovin liked to give his blindfolded captives a rough ride to disorient them.

He recalled an incident when he, "was just jerking left and right, and then I hit the gas pedal going up a hill, and I turn the wheel, and I lost control, and the two right wheels went up. It was horrifying. It almost tipped over...but I grabbed the wheel and spun it back down."

Thankfully, his quick thinking helped him and his friends avoid a major accident, but his car--and ego--suffered some minor damage when the he ended up crashing into a fence. And let's just say, he was restricted from playing 'Predator' for a while.

"My parents were pissed."

The new episode of "When I Was 17", featuring Bow Wow, Christopher Mintz-Passe and Colbie Caillat, premieres Saturday at 11 a.m. ET on MTV.
