Tonight I'm joined by Chuck D, who as the leader and co-founder of the politically astute group Public Enemy, has never shied away from challenging the status quo. With his new solo digital album, The Black in Man, he continues to confront the conflicts and frustrations so many in this country face. In the clip below I asked him about why it's still crucial for artists to speak out on the issues that affect us the most, including what happened most recently in Ferguson.
