Even Waiting On The Pope To Speak Couldn't Keep This Senator From Getting Bored

"What happened?"

U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) seemingly had no time to spare on Wednesday, impatiently tweeting while waiting on Pope Francis to speak outside of the White House.

Grassley, who's infamous for his Twitter presence, tweeted out his thoughts -- the good and the bad -- while waiting on the pope to arrive:

Grassley gave his followers a play-by-play of the events leading up to the pope's remarks:

Grassley also kept his followers informed about the musical selection ahead of the pope's speech. And just so no one thought he was dilly-dallying, the senator also made it known that it was hard to get outta there:

Grassley also posted a photo to Instagram of his wife talking with the wife of Rep. Dave Loebsack (D-Iowa) "while we were waiting for two hrs for pope."
