Cindy Crawford: ‘I Don't Consider Myself A Model' (VIDEO)

WATCH: Cindy Crawford's Surprising Comment About Models

The world knows Cindy Crawford as a supermodel who has graced the cover of countless magazines, but in an upcoming episode of “Oprah’s Master Class,” airing on Sunday, March 10 at 10 p.m. ET on OWN, the sexy American icon reveals that the “model” label does not define who she is.

“I don’t consider myself a model,” Crawford says. “'Model’ is not who I am. It’s what I do.” In this exclusive clip, she explains the difference between the idea of being a model and modeling as a profession -- a distinction that Crawford says is often lost on young girls eager to break into the modeling field. “That real lesson, especially for someone in my line of work, [is] to have to like what’s on the inside, to not identify with the envelope,” says Crawford. “The envelope took me far, but that’s not who I am.”
