Living in the New York area, most of us at HuffPost Home pay a lot for, well, not much when it comes to our homes. But, according to our friends at Apartment Guide, this isn't the case all over the country.

They've done their research and found the cities with the lowest rent that also have the best amenities -- like air conditioning, laundry facilities, a dishwasher and fitness centers. Surprisingly (or maybe not), Tulsa, Oklahoma came in at number one. Now, before you balk at the idea of moving to The Sooner State, take a look at what you could get for your money. Like, this one-bedroom, one-bathroom luxury apartment at the Estancia, which has an outdoor pool, clubhouse and business center and starts at $759 a month. Not too shabby. Here's the full list:
