When You're A Flower Girl On A Mission, All You Need Is A Bride And Groom

Annabelle Earl might just be the most romantic 4-year-old in Brooklyn -- or anywhere, for that matter. Here's why:

In April, Annabelle visited Yoko Ono's Wish Tree at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. Her wish? A rainbow unicorn, of course. After her mom Kim explained to her that that wasn't exactly realistic, Annabelle decided on her back-up wish: to be a flower girl in a wedding.

One problem: Annabelle's family didn't know anyone getting married any time soon. So Kim devised a plan. She and Annabelle would go to City Hall in Manhattan and offer up her flower girl services to couples tying the knot there.

On July 11, Annabelle put on a dress with a pair of lace gloves and she and Kim headed to their local bodega to pick up some flowers for the occasion.

Can't go wrong with roses!

Annabelle held this sign inside City Hall, hoping that a pair of soon-to-be newlyweds would walk by and ask her to be part of their ceremony. But no one did. So Kim and Annabelle approached a couple (who did not wish to be identified) and they were happy to have her. Hooray!

When it came time to stand next to the bride and groom, Annabelle got a little shy. So mom came to the rescue and held Annabelle in her arms while the clerk pronounced the couple husband and wife. That was Annabelle's cue to hand the bride the bouquet.

After the wedding, a flower vendor gave Annabelle a rose to congratulate her on a job well done.

And what kind of wedding would it be without a piece of celebratory cake?

Kim told The Huffington Post that Annabelle deemed the whole experience "awesome." We think she did one heck of a job!
