Following in my grandparents footsteps, I recently visited the charming UNESCO world heritage town of San Miguel de Allende in central Mexico. My grandparents visited San Miguel in the '70s and loved it so much they ended up buying a home in Mexico and spending their winters in Mexico for almost 30 years.

From what I'd learned from my grandparents, I knew this town would be an ideal place to check out for my new weekly Travel Therapy video series, featuring tips on trips to take based on what you're going through in life. I was so thrilled to find a new fantastic boutique hotel, Hotel Matilda, that offered a truly unique vacation experience. Check it out in the video.
