A Masters patron was arrested Sunday after unsuccessfully attempting to steal a cup of sand from Augusta National, according to The Augusta Chronicle.
Clayton Price Baker, 40, slipped under the ropes at the conclusion of Sunday’s final round and attempted to fill his cup with sand from a nearby bunker. Richmond County sheriff’s Capt. Scott Gay told the Chronicle that Baker, of Ohio, had been drinking heavily and failed to actually get anything in the cup.
