Cleaning Your Mailbox Is Super Important Because It's A Germ Hot Spot

Guys, we didn't even think we had to in the first place.

Have you ever thought about cleaning your mailbox? Probably not. But according to List 25, its handle can be a germ hot spot (hello, bird poop). Luckily, our friends over at BrightNest have an easy solution for disinfecting the area if it's plastic or aluminum.

First, clear all the mail from the receptacle. Then, using a sponge, scrub it with a solution of warm water and soap. Next, rinse it down with water and dry it completely with a cloth. The site suggests to then spray the area with a disinfectant or white vinegar to help get rid of any germs.
