Man In Clown Makeup Accused Of Trespassing With Hatchet

Nothing creepy about this, no sir-ee.

They say “less is more,” and that might even apply to the creep factor of clown makeup.

The proof is in this arrest photo of a man who allegedly trespassed on a gas station’s property while carrying a hatchet.

Deputies in Union County, North Carolina, arrested Travis Quenton Pressley Sunday evening after witnesses reported a man with clown makeup, a ski cap and dark clothing was walking around the store, according to WCNC.com.

The 20-year-old suspect was gone by the time deputies arrived, but he was found a short time later.

Pressley was charged with second-degree trespassing, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana up to one-half of an ounce, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He has since been released from the Union County Jail.

Pressley’s arrest marks the latest creepy clown sighting to occur around the nation this fall.

Clowns have been accused of trying to lure children into the woods in South Carolina and there have been reported sightings in Los Angeles, Hawaii and Wisconsin.
