'High Profits,' A New Series About Marijuana Moguls, To Air On CNN

As CNN continues to drift toward reality television under the direction of Jeff Zucker, the network's newest original series will follow two "marijuana moguls" hoping to find riches in post-legalization Colorado. Aptly titled "High Profits," the show stars Brian Rogers and Caitlin McGuire, the owners of a legal marijuana dispensary, CNN announced on Thursday in a press release:

Like the oil tycoons and dot-com magnates that have come before them, the owners of Breckenridge Cannabis Club (BCC) are at the forefront of a new industry that’s prime for an abundance of wealth and opportunity.

Amid layoffs and "reshaping" at CNN, a show that focuses on the dealings of a fledgling marijuana franchise might just have the "attitude" and "take" Zucker needs to capture that younger audience he's been searching for these last two years.
