Coco Rocha, Size 4: 'I'm Not In Demand For The Shows Anymore'

Model Coco Rocha seems to have it all: one of the best-known faces in the biz, a series of television reporting gigs and her own clothing line, Rococo. But some industry insiders think that Rocha, size 4, is too big--literally--for the runway. Rocha told the New York Times, "I'm not in demand for the shows anymore."

But instead of starving herself or smoking a pack a day to stave off weight gain, Rocha remarked, "If I want a hamburger, I'm going to have one. No 21-year-old should be worrying about whether she fits a sample size."

Rocha thinks that part of the problem is that the most recent batches of runway models are 14 and 15 years old and haven't yet hit puberty, which will add non-negotiable curves to their rail-thin frames.

"A lot of people don't take into account the vulnerability of these young girls," Rocha explained. "They are children. Point closed."
