Beyoncé Is A Kaleidoscopic Vision In Coldplay's 'Hymn For The Weekend' Video

She appears alongside Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor.

Coldplay's "Hymn for the Weekend," frontman Chris Martin's version of a party song featuring guest vocals by Beyoncé, just got a gorgeous video treatment.

Shot in Mumbai alongside Bollywood superstar Sonam Kapoor, the video meanders through the streets of the India city that's been sprinkled with colorful powders thrown during Holi, a Hindu celebration, before landing in a theater showing a film led by Beyoncé.

Kapoor appears as another of Martin's muses, throwing flower petals in the air.

"I love Coldplay's music and so does the world," she told The Times of India. "It was a huge honor to be a part of the video. It's a great concept and I had a lot of fun shooting for it."

Indians, apparently, are actually big fans of the English rock group. Indian social media had a meltdown when Martin and actress Freida Pinto gave an impromptu concert at a Delhi cafe last summer, when they visited on behalf of The Global Poverty Project, an organization working to end extreme poverty by 2030.
