Coldplay Wrote A 'Game Of Thrones' Musical For Red Nose Day

Ever wonder what a "Game of Thrones" musical would sound like? Now you don't have to, thanks to Coldplay.

Chris Martin and the rest of his bandmates penned a "GoT" musical sketch in support of NBC's Red Nose Day, "a campaign dedicated to raising money for children and young people living in poverty." The network teased the sketch, which will air on Thursday, with two clips. The first features Peter Dinklage singing as Tyrion about all the deaths in the HBO series:

The second has a more Coldplay-esque mellow tempo with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau singing as Jaime asking Cersei to lend him a hand (ha ha):

The collaboration between Coldplay and the HBO show is not much of a surprise. Fans will remember that the band's drummer Will Champion had a cameo in the Red Wedding episode. Now perhaps Tyrion and Jorah will sing some Westerosi tunes this season.

"Game of Thrones" airs on Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET on HBO.
