Inside a Colombian Rainforest Sawmill (PHOTOS)

In 2010, photographer Jan Sochor spent time capturing the work of sawmill workers at a processing plant in Tumaco on the banks of a Pacific jungle river in Colombia's rainforest. Sawmills located here generate almost half of Colombia's wood production. The production is mainly used for construction or for paper production. Due to the uncontrolled production, Colombia's rainforest's suffer from extreme deforestation.
