Colorado Polls 2012: What You Need To Know To Vote

It's just about time for Colorado to cast its ballots in the 2012 elections.

We've rounded up what you need to know about voting in Colorado on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.

The Colorado polls closing time is 7 p.m. Mountain Time, while the opening time is 7 a.m. Mountain Time.

More than 1.6 million Coloradans have already cast ballots through early voting, which began two weeks ago.

In the presidential race, the winner of Colorado collects 9 electoral votes. The polls have been virtually deadlocked for weeks in the state. It has voted Republican in 8 of the last 10 elections, but Barack Obama won the state in 2008. See our election map here.
