Columbus Short's Estranged Wife, Tanee McCall, Faces Police Investigation Over Attack

Columbus Short's Estranged Wife Lands In Hot Water

Columbus Short and his estranged wife, Tanee McCall marital woes has landed back in the news, this time involving Short’s friend Tilly Key.

According to TMZ, Key has reportedly filed a battery report against McCall last week following a taped February altercation involving the 33-year-old violently attacking and threatening the actor’s friend, while she was attempting to assist Short in moving his belongings from out of the couple’s home. In the report Key claims since the encounter she has received a string of various random calls and Twitter followers.

In addition to pursuing criminal charges, the singer-vocal coach has also issued a warning to McCall via her personal Instagram account, demanding her to “stay away.”

Stay away from me... I have 2 years to press charges. You already told me "I'm gonna slit your throat, I'm gonna kill you, gonna break your neck" that's enough already. The world is my witness stop following me @taneemcshort and you did tell me screaming in my ear "I'm crazier than you Bitch" so trust I heard you and I'm not underestimating your mental health.

Since his arrest for getting into a bar fight along with McCall filing for divorce and a restraining order, in April Short also exited his reoccurring role on ABC’s political thriller “Scandal.” The announcement of the 31-year-old actor’s exit from the series came amid two pending criminal cases, one accusing him of misdemeanor spousal battery and another accusing him of felony battery that seriously injured a man during an altercation at a West Hollywood restaurant in March.

If convicted, Short faces up to four years in state prison.
