Coming out is complicated -- no matter where on the queer spectrum you fall.
In order to make the process of coming out of the closet easier for other gays and lesbians, vlogger Ally Hills released a song earlier this year: "Coming Out -- The Official Song." She noted in the initial video release that she wrote the song "to make it easy for everyone [to come out]... Just send your loved ones this and the song will do the work for you!"
Well, it looks like Hills made an impact. A new video from Loren Baldwin depicts the YouTuber using Hill's song to come out to, of all people, her grandmother!
The reaction is absolutely priceless -- and the sweetest thing we've seen all week. "It doesn't make any difference to me," Baldwin's grandmother says in the video before hugging her granddaughter.
"I decided to come out using Ally's video because I'm a big fan of using humour to get through tough situations," Baldwin told The Huffington Post. "I think that the fact that she made that video to help people come out is amazing. As to why I put it on YouTube for everyone to see, I hope that it can help people. Not just people coming out, but it's important to see the reaction -- and luckily my grandma had a great reaction. Love should be louder than everything else."
