He was way more than a star, man.

After his untimely death on Sunday, everyone is remembering David Bowie for his music career, but Conan O'Brien says he was way more than just a singer and performer.

"People are remembering today what a phenomenal musician David Bowie was, and of course that was the case -- he was just mind-blowingly talented -- but in my experience, he was also an incredibly nice person. He was fun. He was always funny," O'Brien said on "Conan" Monday.

The late-night host paid tribute to Bowie by playing old clips of him on his show, and it totally ch-ch-ch-changes how you'll remember him.
