Coogi Is Making A Comeback, Are You Ready To Start Rocking The Colorful Sweaters Again?

Are You Ready For The Coogi Comeback?

Time to break out your Coogi! The clothing brand known for its crazy colorful sweaters and 90's hip-hop hype is making a comeback.

According to The New York Times, the Australian label, which was founded in 1969 and immortalized by the likes of rapper Notorious B.I.G., is experiencing quite the resurgence. All you have to do is search #Coogi on Instagram or Twitter to see there are still plenty of fans of the kaleidoscoped clothes still out there. In addition, fashion brands such as Rag & Bone, Pigalle, Burton and Supreme have also been paying homage to Coogi as of late.

In the early 2000s, the luxury clothing company sadly lost its luster after licensing its name to various discount manufacturers that didn't uphold the quality of the product. However, Willie Esco, Coogi’s creative director, is hoping to bring Coogi back to its high-end roots and to expand its customer base from fashion insiders, hip-hop heads and hipsters. "My vision is to get it back to competitive with Gucci and Missoni," Esco told the Times.

Well, we don't think they will have any problem doing that. Here's a look at some cultural icons and current Coogi lovers flexin' on Instagram and beyond...
