Raw Video Shows Cops Reacting To Gunfire From Chattanooga Shooter

Raw cell phone video has emerged of the Thursday shooting spree that killed four Marines and wounded several others at two military centers in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

According to News Channel 9, Jonathan Whitaker filmed the harrowing video at the Navy-Marine training center. Whitaker was reportedly standing at a nearby Coca-Cola plant when he started recording.

Bursts of gunfire can be heard on the video as multiple officers cautiously approach the scene.

Minutes before the video was taken, the shooter, identified by the FBI as Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez, 24, had stopped his vehicle outside a nearby recruiting center and opened fire with an AK-47 style weapon, wounding three people.

“We heard the [shots],” witness April Grimmett told CNN of the shooting at the recruiting center.

“It was very loud and very fast,” Grimmett said. “I could not believe how many bullet holes were in that door. It was insane.”

Abdulazeez was killed during an exchange of gunfire with police at the training center. Authorities have released few details about him. The FBI and a terrorism task force are investigating.
