Like corgis? You'll love this.
A total of 634 corgis (and their owners) gathered for So Cal Corgi Beach Day Saturday in Huntington Beach, California.
Event co-founder Kelly McLemore told The Huffington Post it was the biggest turnout yet in nine gatherings.
It's official....634 corgi signed/checked in at today's So Cal Corgi Beach Day!!! Thank you to all that attended and...
The pooches participated in a costume contest, limbo and a "Corgis of Instagram Meet and Greet," while some of the humans sold T-shirts and stickers to benefit a local rescue that helps find homes for corgis and corgi mixes, McLemore said.
McLemore and her husband, who own a corgi named Mr. Pickles, organized the first event in 2012. "It was so much fun we decided to do it again," she told HuffPost. "Then it just blew up from there."
Corgi lovers should note that the next Corgi Beach Day is July 11. "We expect this one to be even bigger, as the summer CBD's are always our largest event," she said.
