Sen. Cory Booker was re-elected to the U.S. Senate on Tuesday.
Booker began his service in the Senate in 2013, when he won a special election to fill the seat vacated by Sen. Frank Lautenberg, who passed away that year.
Booker was the first black man elected to the Senate since President Barack Obama was elected to the Senate in 2004.
