Trying to understand teen bride Courtney Stodden better on "Couples Therapy," Dr. Jenn Berman invited her mother Krista to come in and chat. She wanted to talk to Krista about what was going on when Doug Hutchison and Courtney first started seeing one another.
While Krista said that she felt her daughter needed someone like Doug, Dr. Berman hinted at another possibility. Krista had recently separated from her husband, and Dr. Berman suggested maybe she was the one who needed someone like Doug in her life. After all, while there is nearly a 25-year gap between the ages of Doug and Courtney, Krista and Doug are basically the same age.
"He’s got a lot of qualities, I’m not gonna lie to you," Krista said. "Any woman would love the qualities that man has. He is a fabulous man."
Krista said the experience made her more comfortable with interviews and being in front of the cameras. "The producers told me I was incredible, and [they] wished there had been more of me in the show," she said. "Now there is talk about doing a momager reality show, and I'm very interested."
