Courteney Cox and David Arquette reunited for a 'Scream 4' event and Courteney gave an interview to Extra talking about how well sobriety is treating her estranged husband.
"Oh my God, I'm so proud of him!" she said. "Best he's ever looked! He's so cute that I'm like, dude, I don't understand. Really?! Why are you that cute right now?"
According to People, the former couple smiled at each other and shared "quiet laughs" as they promoted their movie.
David, who left rehab in January, also talked to Extra about his road to recovery.
"Part of being sober is I didn't want to be on any pain medication because you know sobriety is really important to me right now," he said.
Courteney and David are parents to daughter Coco, 6, and they haven't ruled out a reconciliation. "I love him," Courteney told Extra, and she recently told Harper's Bazaar that her feelings for him remain strong.
"We loved each other so much, and if anything I feel like we've been extremely successful at marriage," she told the magazine. "If it doesn't work out, I will have huge waves of pain about failing in that department. But right now I don't have that because I don't know what the future holds and I guess because I have strong feelings for him."
David appeared on Oprah last month and talked about how he misses his family and hopes they might be able to put it back together one day.
"There's always a possibility, and that would be the ideal situation," he said. "I want what's right...I want us to be the best people we can be...if [that] doesn't make her happy...that's still to be answered. I know that I'll be with her for my whole life. We have an amazing family together and we're really great parents together."
