Admit it. Between all the inappropriate romps through pumpkin patches, and church clothes designed to make the minister sweat, you've wondered what life was really like for America's favorite child bride, Courtney Stodden and her much older husband, Doug Hutchison.
You need not wonder any longer, as Vh1's The Fab Life had the 17-year-old newlywed reveal what a typical day was like in the world of underage marriage.
"A typical day for me is crazy, let me tell you," she began. "I get up out of bed in the sexiest outfit you've ever seen. My hair is done, my makeup's done. I get up around 12 p.m. I make my mocha. I don't care about anything else."
It seems Stodden is living the charmed life as she plays house with 51-year-old Hutchison. "Doug is wonderful," she gushes. "He picks up my coffee beans that I spill all over the floor. He picks up my foundation. He picks up my feathers from my big robe that I wear. My high heels are all over. So I have a wonderful life, a wonderful husband. So, a typical day for me is, like a, princess."
Let's get this straight. Doug regularly cleans up her food from the floor, and shops for her 'necessities' -- if we didn't know any better we'd say it sounds a lot more like babysitting than marriage. But don't be fooled, Courtney is clearly contributing something to the relationship. She's teaching Doug how to be young and hip -- introducing him to modern music like "Maroon 5, Train, and all the awesome new bands."
But you know how your mom is always mixing up the names of today's bands? Well, Doug is such an old fogey he does that too! "It's so cute: Doug calls Maroon 5, 'Monsoon 5.' He's like, 'Yeah! Monsoon 5' It's so embarrassing, but it's darling too," she said.
Despite this embarrassment, living with a man who is old enough to be her father does have its perks, Courtney admits. The teenager says she's found someone she can enjoy vintage television shows, like 'Green Acres', 'The Honeymooners,' and 'I Love Lucy," with.
