Craig Anderson Injury: Senators Goalie Leaves Game vs. Stars On Stretcher (VIDEO)

WATCH: Sens Goalie Leaves Ice On Stretcher

Ottawa Senators goalie Craig Anderson was taken from the ice on a stretcher after a collision with Stars rookie Valeri Nichushkin inside the crease on Sunday.

Anderson went down to block a shot from Nichushkin in overtime, but the Dallas Winger appeared to lose his balance and ended up skating right into Anderson. Nichushkin's knee collided with Anderson's head, causing the Ottawa netminder to roll over onto his back.

Team trainers rushed over to attend to him and as he was being stretchered off the ice, the 32-year-old waved to the crowd and flashed a thumbs up.

The Senators' official Twitter account posted an update on Anderson later on Sunday afternoon.
